Who is behind BookGiveaways.net?
BookGiveaways.net was started by the team behind Standoutbooks.com. It started out as a service for our own authors but proved to be so successful that we have now made it available to all authors and publishers.
How much does it cost?
A complete giveaway campaign, including setup, graphic design, the prize package and a Facebook advertising campaign costs $199, click here to order your campaign on standoutbooks.com.
Do you work with independent authors?
Whether your giveaway attracts hundreds of entries or hundreds of thousands, BookGiveaways.net has the technology to help you go the distance. Our platform works just as well for independent authors and small publishers as it does for major publishing houses.
Am I signed in to a contract?
No, you pay for one campaign and get one giveaway. It is a one time payment.
Is it hard to set up?
We need a bit of input from you but you’ll be walked through the process by a member of our author support team.
How do I sign up?
Does BookGiveaways.net integrate with my e-mail marketing service?
We currently integrate with and automatically push emails to the following email providers: Aweber, Campaign Monitor, GetResponse & Mailchimp. You can also download and import your entries in csv format.
Is BookGiveaways.net compliant with Facebook’s terms of service?
We created our giveaways to be compliant with Facebook’s terms but please review them yourself as they are subject to change. You can view Facebook’s TOS here.
Can we add additional fields beside email address?
We don’t recommend it. We’ve done hundreds of tests and having more fields dramatically kills your conversion rate.
Adding extra steps is a huge hurdle to your giveaways becoming viral.
If you do want to add a name field to your giveaway simply ask your Standoutbooks representative.
Do you offer support for my giveaway?
Of course! We have a team of friendly experts ready to answer your questions and solve any problems that may come along.
Is there telephone support for my book giveaway?
We don’t offer telephone support. In our experience, the written record created by an email system solves problems efficiently and effectively. It also keeps a record of those solutions for future reference.
